About Us

Amygdala logo.jpg

The Amygdala is a student-led global forum harnessing the literary and artistic potential of youth to cultivate an impact. The initiative is solely rooted to promote interconnectivity, comprehensive awareness and bring together advancements towards ideas that can make a change. The forum highlights the communities that need our support, provides an educated approach towards global affairs and provides a space for cultural exchange and introspections. It serves to be the anywhere place, the last stop, a place for one to grow, inspire and be better for our world.

"We believe that every individual can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world."

Our Vision

Looking after mental health can preserve a person’s ability to enjoy life. Doing this involves reaching a balance between life activities, responsibilities, and efforts to achieve psychological resilience.

Mental Illnesses are brain-based conditions that affect thinking, emotions, and behaviours. Since we all have brains having some kind of mental health problem during your life is really common.

For people who have mental illnesses, their brains have changed in a way in which they are unable to think, feel, or act in ways they want to. For some, this means experiencing extreme and unexpected changes in mood like feeling more sad or worried than normal.
